As an IT Applications Specialist, you will be the cornerstone of our company’s digital ecosystem. Your primary responsibility is to manage the full lifecycle of our IT applications—from implementation and configuration to ongoing maintenance and optimization.
You will serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting issues, ensuring system integrations work flawlessly, and maintaining a high level of performance and security across all platforms.
You will lead IT projects, from software upgrades to new implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect company data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Staying ahead of emerging IT trends and proposing innovative solutions to enhance business operations is an important aspect of this role.
Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to align technology solutions with business needs, provide training and support to end users, and work closely with vendors to enhance our technological capabilities, drive the success of our business and empower our clients.
This is a remote role that requires a high level of professionalism, self-motivation, and attention to detail.

Application Management and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain all business applications (e.g., LMS, CRM, communication platforms, etc.).
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
Monitor application performance and ensure system stability.
Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation of application configurations and procedures.
LMS (Learning Management System) Administration:
Manage user accounts, course enrolments, and access permissions within the LMS.
Configure and customize the LMS to meet the needs of our training programs.
Provide technical support to learners and facilitators regarding LMS usage.
Integrate the LMS with other business applications as needed.
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Management:
Administer and maintain the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date client data.
Customize CRM workflows and reports to support sales, marketing, and client service teams.
Provide training and support to users on CRM usage.
Ensure data security and integrity.
Application Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide timely and effective technical support to internal and external users.
Diagnose and resolve complex application issues.
Escalate issues to vendors or developers as needed.
Create and maintain a knowledge base for common application issues.
Application Integration and Development:
Integrate applications with each other to streamline business processes.
Work with developers to customize or extend application functionality.
Evaluate and recommend new applications to meet business needs.
Assist with the implementation of new IT projects.
Data Management, Security and Reporting:
Manage data flows, ensure data integrity and security across all applications.
Generate reports and analytics from IT systems to support decision-making.
Develop dashboards and tools for real-time monitoring of key metrics.
Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
Monitor application logs and security alerts.
Adhere to data privacy regulations and best practices.
Work with IT security teams to safeguard data and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
Monitor system performance using analytical tools to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze user feedback and system data to recommend and implement performance enhancements.
Vendor Management:
Liaise with software application vendors and service providers to manage service contracts, resolve issues and obtain support.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met. Manage application licensing and renewals.
Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or new applications that benefit the organization.
User Training and Technical Documentation:
Develop comprehensive technical documentation and provide training to staff on how to effectively use IT applications.
Create user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting documents to empower employees and enhance productivity.
Keep up to date with new technology.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologies.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve business processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT function.

Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining various IT applications.
Strong understanding of database management, software integration, system upgrades, patch management, and knowledge of cloud-based applications and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Familiarity with networking basics, cybersecurity principles, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting IT applications (e.g., CRM, LMS, ERP, etc.).

IT Applications Management:
Proven experience in managing, implementing, and optimizing IT applications within a Startup or an organizational setting.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), customer relationship management (CRM) tools, or business automation software is a plus.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Hands-on experience providing technical support, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective solutions.
System Integration and Performance Optimization:
Demonstrated success in integrating diverse software applications and utilizing performance monitoring tools to enhance efficiency.
Documentation and Training:
Experience in creating detailed documentation and training staff on the effective use of IT applications.
Vendor Coordination:
Background in liaising with software vendors and managing external service contracts.
Industry Knowledge:
