What training programs are currently offered?

Flagship SME Program: This comprehensive, post-graduate–level program consists of four comprehensive courses, each containing five modules. It is vocationally based to provide in-depth, practical knowledge that covers all aspects of initiating, running and/or scaling an SME. This program includes courses such as:

  • The Essence of Leadership: Focusing on building leadership qualities, ethical decision-making, agile decision-making, adaptability, resilience, and effective people management.

  • Critical Competencies for the SME Business Leader: Concentrating on time management, strategic thinking, fundamental business execution skills, and operations optimization.

  • Essential SME Skill Set Toolkit: Explaining how to leverage digital tools, automation, and corporate best practices to enhance SME productivity and decision-making.

  • Business Viability and Profitability: Covering market analysis, product/service selection and positioning, financial control, and strategies for sustainable growth.

How do I register for a training program?

Follow these steps to enroll in a training program on trainerz:


1. Visit the trainerz Website

Go to to access the platform.


2. Sign In or Create an Account

On the homepage, you’ll find options to “Sign In” or “Sign Up.”

  • If you already have an account, simply sign in.

  • If you’re new to trainerz, click “Sign Up” and complete the registration form with your personal details (name, email address, and password).

  • Verify your email address to activate your account.


3. Explore Available Courses and Modules

Once logged in, browse the training catalog to view available courses and modules.

  • Use the search function or menu to find specific programs.

  • Review course details, including objectives, schedules, and requirements.


4. Select and Enroll in a Course

When you find a course or module that interests you:

  • Click on it to view more details.

  • On the SME program page, look for the “Enrol” or “Register” button.

  • Follow the prompts, which may include submitting additional details or making a payment.


5. Confirmation and Access

After completing the enrollment process:

  • You’ll receive a confirmation via email and on-screen.

  • You’ll gain access to course materials, live webinars, and other resources as outlined in the course description.


Should you experience any issues, or have questions relating to the registration process, we provide remote troubleshooting.

How do I download the TrainerCentral mobile app?

For Android Users

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

  2. Search for "TrainerCentral Learner App" or click this direct link: 

  3. Tap Install and wait for the installation to complete.

  4. Open the app and log in with your TrainerCentral account.


For iOS (iPhone/iPad) Users

  1. Open the Apple App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Search for "TrainerCentral Learner App" or use this direct link: 

  3. Tap Get and follow the prompts to install the app.

  4. Open the app and log in to access your courses.

What are the minimum system requirements for using TrainerCentral?

Device & Operating System Compatibility

  • TrainerCentral works on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

  • While there are no strict OS version requirements, keeping your device updated ensures better performance.


Browser Requirements

  • Recommended browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

  • Unlike live workshops, self-paced courses may work on Safari, but some features might be limited.


Internet & Bandwidth

  • stable internet connection is required, but bandwidth demands are lower than live workshops.

  • Streaming recorded sessions may require at least 2 Mbps download speed for smooth playback.


Storage & Performance

  • Ensure sufficient storage space for downloading course materials.

  • Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS, allowing offline access to certain content.

My operating system is outdated. Can I still access Trainer Central?

Operating System & Compatibility

  • Older Windows/macOS versions: TrainerCentral works best on the latest OS versions, but older systems may still function if they support modern browsers.

  • Older Android/iOS devices: Some features may not work properly on outdated systems. Check if updates are available to improve compatibility.


Browser Support

  • TrainerCentral works best on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

  • Safari on older iOS devices may have limited functionality.

  • If your browser is outdated, consider updating or switching to a supported one.


Performance Considerations

  • Limited storage: Older devices may struggle with performance if storage is low. Freeing up space can help.

  • Lower processing power: If your device is slow, closing background apps and clearing cache may improve responsiveness.


Workarounds

  • Use a different device: If possible, try accessing TrainerCentral on a newer device.

  • Mobile app: If your browser isn’t working well, the TrainerCentral mobile app may offer better compatibility.

How do I troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues that prevent me from accessing TrainerCentral?

1. Check Your Internet Connection

  • Run a speed test using Speedtest by Ookla or MyBroadband Speed Test to check your connection speed.
  • Ensure your download speed is at least 5 Mbps for live workshops and 2 Mbps for recorded sessions.


2. Restart Your Router & Device

  • Power off your router and modem, wait 30 seconds, then turn them back on, router and then the modem about 30 seconds later.

  • Restart your computer, tablet, or smartphone to refresh network settings.


3. Improve Wi-Fi Signal Strength

  • Move closer to your router for a stronger signal.

  • Avoid interference from microwaves, thick walls, or metal objects.

  • Use a Wi-Fi extender if your signal is weak in certain areas.

4. Switch to a Wired Connection

  • If possible, connect your device via Ethernet for a more stable connection.


5. Reduce Network Congestion

  • Disconnect unused devices from the Wi-Fi network.

  • Avoid streaming or downloading large files while using TrainerCentral.


6. Change Wi-Fi Frequency

  • If your router supports dual-band Wi-Fi, switch to 5 GHz for faster speeds only if you are in the same room as the router.

  • Use 2.4 GHz if you need better range.


7. Update Router Firmware

  • Log into your router settings and check for firmware updates.

  • Updating your router can improve performance and security.


8. Contact Your Internet Provider

  • If issues persist, your ISP may be experiencing outages or network congestion.

  • Reach out to them for troubleshooting or possible upgrades.

How much free storage space do I need for TrainerCentral to work properly?

Minimum Storage Requirements

  • Basic Course Access (streaming only): Minimal storage needed, as content is accessed online.

  • Downloading Course Materials (PDFs, presentations, etc.): At least 2–5GB of free space.

  • Downloading Video Lessons: Depending on resolution and duration, videos may require about 500mb per video.


Mobile App Considerations

  • The TrainerCentral app itself only uses about a 200mb.

  • Offline downloads may require additional storage, especially for video clip downloads.


Optimizing Storage

  • Clear unnecessary files to free up space.

  • Use cloud storage for large files if your device has limited capacity.
